Falls short
"Bartenders Choice" may have a big name behind it but thats not enough to make it my go-to cocktail app unless major changes are made. Because Ive been to Milk & Honey and had a good experience there, Ill provide a couple suggestions:
1. You need to show me what drinks I can actually make using whats in my home bar. This is crucial. I dont feel comfortable holding my iPhone up to a busy bartender to have them try and read a recipe off the screen. I prefer to experiment at home. Right now I have to browse dozens of recipes until I find a drink I have the required ingredients for.
2. Several well known variations of classic recipes are missing. For example, the app includes a "Perfect Manhattan" but not a "Dry Manhattan". Ironically, it includes a "Dry Martini" but not a "Perfect Martini". Its also missing the "Sweet" variations for both. So far Ive found these sort of inconsistencies to be common.
