Ive checked out a number of cocktail apps and in my opinion, this one is the best. First of all, it has drinks crafted by Sam Ross that are served at Milk and Honey and Little Branch. These alone are worth buying the app. Second, the app has a cool drink selection process like they do at Milk and Honey, which makes it fun to find new drinks youve never had before. The app is well designed and has great photographs of each drink. It runs fine on my 3GS as well. This is now my go-to source for recipes rather than the books I normally use. I highly recommend this app!

Between this and the PDT ebook, NYC cocktail knowledge is covered.

I am so thankful that Sam Ross, one of the worlds best mixologists, finally created an app. If you are looking for the Joy of Cooking of cocktails, there are many other apps out there. On the other hand, if the French Laundry equivalent to mixology is what you seek, look no further. And yes, the PDT guide is definitely worth buying even though it is not an APP.

Great drinks but "I feel like" always produces the same list of drinks.

When u select a spirit like "Pisco" it gives a list of non-pisco drinks, not one has pisco in it. Doesnt not list what the garnish should be, you sort of have to guess from the picture. Same pictures used for different cocktails.

Great basic recipes. This should support iPhone 5. I would love the ability to add my own recipes.

This is a very nice app, with a lot of cocktail recipes that were new to me as well as many classics. I also like the "minor details" section with tips on glassware, basic how tools, etc.

Nice drink and ingredient list, but its been lacking iPhone 5 support for quite awhile now.

I use it a lot for quick history references. Also helpful to overcome Writers block! Well done!

Seriously though. I love everything. The only thing I would change is adding garnishes to the recipes. Yes they are clearly pictured in the photos. But adding garnishes to the recipes would seriously help newbies like me. Great app guys. Keep up the good work.

Great selection of classic and modern cocktail recipes.

Could be very useful if I could actually use it. LOTS of problems right now.

Best cocktail app by far!

This app has been abandoned by the developers. It hasnt been updated in over 2 YEARS. It doesnt support the iPhone 5(S) and it doesnt support iOS 7. Who knows if itll work at all in iOS 8, which is coming out in the next couple months. Besides that, the recipes are inaccurate (2:1 Martini? Seriously?), and the app only has 5% of the features of other apps, but they still charge 3x the price. Look elsewhere.

This app was highly recommended by a very credible and talented person when I started getting into cocktails. It has helped me make the most of what I have and helped me communicate drinks when out.

If theres a better cocktail app out there, Id love to see it. A great selection of cocktails for the uninitiated or the connoisseur . I only wish there would be an update so that I could find some more cocktails to try.

Its a shame that the developers seem to have left this app to wither and die (no updates in well over 2 years), because the content is excellent.

Areas for improvement would be sorting by citrus type and adding some pisco drinks. Its odd that pisco is even listed when there are no corresponding drinks.
